Grid Mesh, Flooring and Handrail Removal Procedure

This document provides instruction and information to effectively control risks associated with all work activities where the removal of a barricade such as grid mesh, flooring or handrails is required.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide a consistent approach within your organisation to manage these activities including precautions to be taken prior to, during and following removal of the barricade, and reinstatement of the barricade, to prevent the possibility of personnel or objects falling from height.  It is a permitted process in accordance with the Permit To Work Procedure.
