Monitoring and Measurement Procedure
This procedure provides guidance as to how you will identify, develop, implement and report against Monitoring and Measurement requirements at each level of the organisation. This procedure describes the requirements for ensuring a consistent approach is applied to accurate and timely reporting, recording and analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs, lead and lag indicators) and statistical data. This information is used to compile reports, monitor and review performance, and identify trends as part of a continuous improvement program. Examples are included in the procedure.
The purpose of this procedure is to:
- Monitor and measure, on a regular basis, the key characteristics of your organisation’s operations and activities that can cause illness, injury, harm, and non-conformity
- Monitor and measure the performance and implementation of the management system
- Ensure the monitoring equipment is calibrated and maintained
- Periodically evaluate compliance with relevant legislation.
