Manual Handling Procedure

This document provides instruction and information to effectively control risks associated with all manual handling and ergonomic activities.

The purpose of this procedure is to provide a consistent approach within your business to understand the ergonomic requirements of operational tasks, and minimise and control tasks that require manual handling or have ergonomic considerations.  Hazardous Manual Tasks (HMTs) are addressed, including identification of, and undertaking a risk assessment for HMTs.
