This document provides guidance as to how management review will be undertaken within the organisation.

The purpose of management review is to assess the management system at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness in satisfying the organisation’s Policy statements, objectives and targets, responsibilities, and the needs and expectations of those who interact with the business. The review assesses the outputs of the management system to ensure that requirements and expectations are being met.

The objectives of Management Review are to:

  • Assess the key components of the management system to ensure their ongoing effectiveness
  • Identify improvement opportunities for the management system, and implement corrective action where expectations are not being met
  • Drive performance improvement for the business.
  • Determine that adequate resources are available to maintain and improve the requirements of the management system
