Management of Design Procedure

This procedure outlines the process for the development of design documentation. The objectives of this procedure are to ensure that designs:

• Meet project specifications and contractual requirements;
• Comply with relevant regulatory standards;
• Incorporates environmental, life-cycle, community and constructability requirements;
• Are developed in a timely manner to achieve obligations and to meet the client’s program of work;
• Incorporates Safety-in-Design considerations to identify, assess and mitigate risks that may be encountered during construction and operational stages.
